MONOLOGUE UNDER THE MOON
Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival for family reunion. But this year, we wanted to express the reunion of a person from a new perspective.
Chén Sifān teamed up with photographer Dawa Yangjin to create a series of still lifes set against the backdrop of the Mid-Autumn Festival to tell the story of a boy who explores the many facets of his own self and ultimately reconciles with himself and is reunited.
Half asleep, half awake.
I got rabbit ears.
Between the stones,
the unfolding story burns to ashes.
In the calm yellow colour,
moments of dissipating water vapour exposed under the moonlight.
Dryness and disorder condensed.
At last
I see myself.
